Elke Trittel is a mixed media artist from Germany, currently working and living in the South of France. She works in a variety of mediums, including acrylics, inks, oil, pastels, pencils, magazine cuts and collage papers. She mixes her own experiences into her paintings, based on her extensive travels, while always keeping an eye on what, in reference to her work, has been called "the tragicomedy of ...existence".
