Martin Parr is a British documentary photographer, photojournalist and photobook collector. He is known for his photographic projects, which take an intimate look at aspects of modern life, in particular documenting the social classes of England. His major projects have included The Last Resort (1983–1985), The Cost of Living (1987–1989), Small World (1987–1994) and Common Sense (1995–1999). Since 1994, he has been a member of Magnum Photos and, in 2019, he had a major exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery. We are delighted to be able to share a small selection of his photographs, all of which depict people dancing. (You can click on the images for a gallery view.)
